Book Recs

This page is just as much for me, as it is for you. I wouldn't necessarily call myself materialistic but there is no denying that I have got an excess of unread books within my room, bunching together on my shelves and creating a general mess on my desk. This is an attempt to remind me of the books that matter.

Alice by Christina Henry
Talking caterpillars and a bunny that tells the time?
That's some trippy sh*t. Perfect for a horror retelling!

The Merciless by Danielle Vega
I'm going to be completely honest, the gorgeous
cover definitely contributed to it being on this list. It's beautiful.

Red Rising (+ it's subsequent books) by Pierce Brown
This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read.

The Queen of the Tearling (+ it's subsequent books) by Erika Johansen
A lot of people don't seem to like this series.
I'm not one of those people.

The Six of Crows (+ it's subsequent books) by Leigh Bardugo
Does this really need any explanation?

The Rehearsal by Eleanor Catton
I'm really not that interested in theatre or music,
but somehow this book just makes it work.

The Secret History by Donna Tartt
Pretentious young adults with an urge for murder.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before (+ it's subsequent books) by Jenny Han
Probably the first contemporary book that I've ever properly enjoyed.
Not the only one, but the first one.
